If you can design/draw it, I'll get it tattoo'd on me.

"Off topic kind of, but still about tattoos: So I had this roommate in college, kind of a mix of things, he was a gymnast, OCD mathematics whiz that solved 5 different shaped rubix cubes every morning before class, was able to find wicked shrooms anywhere, ran down the halls naked constantly, had a bunch of piercings and a tattoo of a Koi fish running down his side. So one day, we see him, and he shows us this tattoo that he hadn't had finished before now, and it was like musical note lines going around his arm. I asked him what song it was, *"Why does it have to be a song? Why can't I just have musical notes wrapped around my arm?" I didn't write down what it was on his arm, but to this day, I think the tattoo artist did the opening to "Never Gonna Give you Up" on his arm, because the timing kind of fit. "

A sleeve? Warning: you're going to look like an asshole.
I've never been fond of tattoos, but if I were to get one, I'd have something useful like a ruler on my arm. Maybe a scale for converting F to C temperatures, too. Blood type, any allergies, a phone number to call in an emergency, stuff like that.
My good friend Jordan can do anything when it comes to tattoos. Try to friend him on myspace.
I'm in Ottawa and seriously, just walk down Bank and take a look at portfolios. We have some great artists in town for some reason. Check them out first before you spend $3000 on plane tickets!
Guys... I think we have a winner: http://bmezine.com/tattoo/miniport/A90811/high/iv4w-narwhaljohnny4.jpg
"comeon, you should end such long posts with a "tldr SUMMARY" "
Here's my art get a tattoo of anything that grabs your attention: http://prosthetichead.net/elded/elded/
How about not tattooing your beautiful skin with ink that will discolor and run within 20 years and leaving you to look like a fool in your older years. Tattoos are for idiots IMO, leave your precious body in the pristine condition it was formed. You only have one skin....you can't replace it so don't fuck with. Find something more useful to do with your time and money in your short life. /just an opinion and I'm sure it'll get voted down.
Good luck in your mission to find an awesome tattoo but I got to just ask you - do you really think getting the Futurama ship permanently etched on to your arm is really a good idea? Don't get me wrong its a cool show and I love the concept and the design of it's inhabitants but am I really going to be thinking about Futurama in 5 years time? Are you? I'm just saying that if you like sci-fi then you should go for something more timeless. Anything from '2001:... would look good I guess but what about something like Giger That shit is made for tattooing. I would think carefully about getting cartoons and old video games put on your body because if you are anything like me you are already too old for them and they will just become less and less relevant to your personal makeup the older you get.
