what is your worst service industry related story? I'll start and mine was today. This was the worst day of my life.

My dell computer got BSOD and I knew it was because of a faulty hard-drive. I contacted them right away and told them that I was still under warranty and needed a new hard drive ASAP. They decided to send me Windows 7 CD's and Driver software first because they thought that it was simply a operating system error. I tried re-installing Windows 7 anyway to prove my point that I would still get BSOD. The next phone call I made they still didnt send me the god damn hard drive. They thought that I had done it wrong and they decided to walk me through it. This wasted about 30 minutes of my life and they hung up after I said the install was somplete, and of course I got BSOD again. Finally on the third phone call they agreed to send me a new hard drive. The probelm was fixed and I havent goten BSOD in a year. tl dr - it toke me multiple phone calls to receive my hard drive from dell after BSOD since I was still under warranty.

I was working at McDonalds and a middle aged woman with her 6 year old daughter came in and they asked for a happymeal. So I take their order blah blah blah. She then asks why I am twitching. I respond 'I have tourettes' Woman: Do your managers know? Me: It would be pretty hard for them no to know Woman: And they are okay with it Me: Yeah I have had no problems so far Woman: Well your a bad influence for my kid and for other kids that come here. And you shouldn't be working in the food industry. Me: Being tired of being paid minimum wage told my managers I was going home and that there was a bitch to be served at window. Took my shit went home. Never got in trouble for it

I was bringing trash to my road one night, this was at about 9:30. I had brought one can to the road, when I was bringing the second one there was a homeless man standing right on the other side of the street staring at me. He then walked up to the trash cans and stood there staring at me, I had asked him if he need anything, he never responded. I ran inside telling my dad what had happened, he walked out and there was no one there. Keep in mind, I was 12 when this happened. It happened another time about a month after, this time he was carrying a tire iron. Being the scared little kid I was I ran into the house crying, look out my window, he was still there. We therefore called the cops, they couldn't find anything on this guy. A week later we moved from the neighborhood and I never saw him again...
