I think it was a few days before 2nd grade. My older sister was helping me pack my back pack. I was so excited because I had gotten one of those side book bags that hung on one shoulder. When you opened the flap, it had a special pocket for pencils. So anyway, all my books and tools are in there and we start playing around. I jump off the bed and where do I land? Right on the sticking out pencils, who just happened to have the just sharpened lead pointing out. I yelped in agony, and raised my foot quickly, but two pencils were still stuck in my toes. So here I am, standing on one foot and flailing the other around, trying to get the pencils out. My sister yanked them out finally, but one of the pencil's lead had broken inside my toe. I could see it for awhile, but over time the black smudge faded. Sooo yeah. My toe story

It seems getting stabbed with a pencil is decently common around these parts, but I think I can one-up most of you with my forehead-lead. I got stabbed really hard by a friend in grade 7 just above my left eye (it was accidental), and a whole bunch of pencil chunks ended up embedded in my forehead. Got most of it out minus the graphite, but it's sort of moved its way up, getting closer to my hairline. I'm probably not going to be able to see it anymore in a couple of years :( Also got graphite in both hands and one of my feet.

When I was about 10, I slipped on the ice and got some rocks embedded on my left knee. 15 years later, I now have one black dot on said knee.

Some lead from a pencil stuck in the palm of my hand from my best friend in Grade One going 'Is this sharp?' and jabbing said pencil into my hand only to have the point snap off and remain there. Still have the lead, still have the friend. :)
