Honestly, it’s the little things that actually stick. For me, the biggest win is when a guy puts his phone away completely. Like, face down on the table or just tucked in his pocket. It shows he’s actually interested in what I’m saying instead of checking for notifications or scrolling through feeds. It makes the conversation feel so much more genuine and relaxed.
Also, being respectful to the staff at the place we're at is a huge green flag. If he’s polite to the waiter or the bartender, it says a lot about his character. It’s a major turn-off when someone is rude to service workers, so seeing him treat everyone with kindness really earns him points in my book. It’s pretty basic stuff, but you’d be surprised how many guys fail at it.
Finally, just having a solid plan makes a massive difference. Not necessarily something super fancy or expensive, but just knowing where we're going or having a backup idea if the place is packed. It shows he put in some effort and isn't just winging it. That kind of thoughtfulness goes a long way and makes the whole date way less awkward.

Finally, just being respectful to everyone around—like the servers or whoever we come across—is a massive green flag. You can tell a lot about a guy by how he treats people who aren't doing anything for him. If he’s chill, polite, and doesn't act like he’s better than anyone else, that definitely ticks all the boxes for me.
