How common is it for you to hear the word ""y'all"" used in your area? And which area is it?

Well I live in the Midwest, in Michigan, and I'd say its not very common BUT when I was in high school I had friends from Texas, and they said y'all a lot, and even though they don't live here anymore all of us who stayed friends after high school picked it up from them so you will hear it more often then you'd expect when we're together

I live in northern Georgia, in the farmlands. I hear it constantly.

Kinda rare - people just assume you're from Texas. I'm in Colorado.

Um... not super common. I live in Massachusetts, so it's only if you're hanging with a group of urban minorities or annoying white kids that try to talk like them.
