How resistant do you think current information storage is to a loss of historical data on par with the loss of a site like the Library of Alexandria?

Very resistant. From a technological standpoint most big servers are spread out, so losing one doesn't affect everything. And then there are redundancies where multiple servers mirror one another so that if one fails the other one picks up. And then there are raw backups which archive everything. On top of that there are services that just crawl websites and archive them, even the entire internet. So I think if something bad were to happen, it would be more of a hiccup than a loss of information. The servers would get restored and life would go on. If loss of power continuously, then there are bigger problems. But once things come back online, all of the information will be restored.

Not resistant at all. The internet is a communications system that is being repurposed as an archive. Between the fragility of the www and all the books from the past century or so printed on acid-based paper, it'll be a wonder if future generations have many written records of our time at all.
