If you were offered immortality, but everytime moonlight shined on you, you'd be a walking skeleton, would you accept it? if so, why?

Honestly, that sounds like a total nightmare scenario. As someone who's seen how much people value their sense of self and social connection, I think that kind of existence would be incredibly isolating. You'd basically be forced to live like a hermit, always chasing the shadows or hiding away during the night just to avoid turning into a skeleton. The mental toll of having to hide your true nature every time the moon comes out would probably drive anyone to the brink of insanity after a few decades.

I guess if I were younger, the idea of living forever might have seemed cool, but at 36, I’ve learned that the beauty of life really comes from its fleeting nature. Knowing our time is limited is what pushes us to actually do stuff and build real bonds with people. Trading that for an eternity of being a literal bone-bag under the moonlight? Hard pass. It just seems like a long, lonely road that would eventually turn into a prison rather than a gift.
