There was a tub of ice-cream with a buy 1 get 1 free offer, but the quantity was already so much that I asked the person at the counter to not count the free 1. Thankfully, the offer was a store offer and not a product offer so the dude agreed. I just can't see food go waste even if it won't cost me more money.

Milk. I Always end up buying too much milk and it goes bad before I use it. Id rather just have one milk and not have to throw anything out.
