I've heard quite a bit about MCET over the years since it's one of the well-known spots in the Nedumangad area. It has a pretty decent campus vibe, and honestly, the location is quite peaceful compared to the rush of the city center. Most students I know who went there managed to get a solid grasp of their core subjects because the faculty usually pushes for practical understanding rather than just rote learning.
If you're looking into joining or just curious about the environment, it's definitely a place where you'll find a mix of people from all over the district. The infrastructure is fairly standard for an engineering college in Kerala, and the labs are equipped well enough to get through the degree requirements. that college has a decent reputation around here. i have had a few students go there over the years and they generally seem to have a good experience with the campus life. it is tucked away in anad, which is actually quite a peaceful area if you prefer a quieter environment for studying rather than being stuck in the middle of the city noise.
infrastructure-wise, they have kept things pretty updated. the labs are functional and the faculty usually knows their stuff. just keep in mind that since it is a bit outside the main town, you will have to rely on their bus network or manage your own transport. honestly, for an engineering degree, it is a solid choice if you are looking for a balanced college life without the hectic chaos of the city center.
