What is the best way to know if you someone likes you or not without ruining the friendship you have with person?

As someone who explored that dynamic with a friend this summer, I can tell you the only way past it is through it. After trying to ignore my feelings for a couple years I just said what I needed to say. It was not mutual, it was uncomfortable and even painful for a few weeks in between us figuring out what our friendship looked like from that point but ultimately we both agreed we love each other immensely and we wanted to continue our friendship. It did mean having to set new boundaries with them in order to work through my feelings and also maintain clarity regarding our relationship. All that to say that the best way to know is to just find out.

Ask a friend to say to them that they kbow some ody likes you. Then make them ask who they like. If they get suspicious its ur friend that likes them, just make them say that they dont like anybody
