Men & women, what does feminism mean to you?

14 year old girl here. Feminism means equal gender rights. Same work pay. Same job opportunities. Social desicions made by by herself. The right to do what she wants with her body, (and I'm not talking about whoring behind your back.) Gender Equality. I've seen some of those psycho feminists who are absolute man haters and think they can hit a man without repercussions. Uh. No. If I hit a man I will expect consequences, because gender equality means equality of the genders. In other words, the same. Some people just can't understand the concept. I wouldn't consider myself a feminist, but rather I fight for equal rights in general. As a gender fluid female, I've noticed I get more dissemination when I go to school as a female rather than male. So, yeah that's my opinion.

Change how society views both genders, make the difference between them grayer. Everyone knows that there's shit that men do better than women and there's shit that women do better than men, but it's important to support equal opportunities because people shouldn't be forced to be fit into pre-determined molds. Traditionally defined gender roles are holding that back, and that's why that needs to be changed.
Women who want superiority over men. Equal benefits without equal work. I am all for equality. But feminism is the opposite of masculism, Neither get us anywhere
80% a movement to obtain equal rights for women in the eyes of society and the law 15% a movement to highlight misogyny (real or imagined) in all aspects of modern life 5% a movement to secure preferential treatment for women in all situations
It means respecting women as much as you respect men. It does not mean hating men.
I'm a straight white cis male gamer, and I consider myself a feminist. Women are still being treated as second-class citizens even in the most advanced civilizations on earth, it could be something like their lack of positive representation in the media or something like the wage gap which is still an issue in 2014.
Economical, political and social equality of the sexes
For me personally it is a means of analyzing gender relations and fighting oppressive gender roles to do a variety of things, such as achieve gender equality and eliminate gender roles. My interests with it lie primarily with male gender roles and allowing boys and men to shrug them off, although there are plenty of other aspects that I am aware of/try to act on.
"Here is what equality means to me. The same right and same treatment for everyone in all situations. So: Anyone can marry whoever they want. Anyone can work whatever job they are qualified for, for the same pay as someone equally qualified. Anyone can choose to walk away from a pregnancy with no legal repercussions, man or woman. Divorce results in true equal distribution of assets, based on original contribution, and original ownership. All gender expectations are expunged, including all concepts of "being a lady" or "being a gentleman." All sexual expectations and interpretations are now devoid of gender. So all understanding of rape, assault, or harassment now ignore any consideration of gender. Rape is rape, man or woman, etc etc. "
