"it isnt, the whole thing is designed to help the company and not the customer. they know that most people would rather lose $20 than bother going through their incredibly frustrating phone no-helpline but they still maintain the illusion of giving a shit by being able to say "and now we have an automated system so we can process any and all complaints or issues at any time" also, much cheaper than hiring real people to staff a callcentre "
