Honestly, haven't heard a peep from her in years. Last I checked through a mutual friend, she moved out to the coast for some design job and seems to be doing her own thing. It's funny how those people just kind of fade into the background while life keeps moving forward.
I don't really dwell on it much, to be fair. We were just kids back then and everything was a mess, so it makes sense that we drifted apart. Sometimes I wonder if she even remembers those days, but I guess it doesn't really matter now. Life's got enough going on without digging up the past.

honestly, i barely think about that anymore. it’s been a few years and we’ve both moved on to completely different lives. last i checked through some mutual friends, she moved to another city for work and seems to be doing her own thing. people change so much in their early twenties, so the person i knew back then probably doesn't even exist anymore.
it's kinda funny how those things go. sometimes i wonder if she ever thinks about me, but usually, it’s just a distant memory from when we were younger and less stressed about everything. no hard feelings or anything, just one of those chapters you close and put on a shelf. i think it's better to just focus on what's happening right now instead of digging up the past.
