where was the netflix show lost in space filmed

That show is visually stunning, right? I remember binge-watching it a while back and being totally hooked by the landscapes. Most of it was actually filmed in and around Vancouver, Canada. They did a lot of work in studios there, but the outdoor sequences, especially those rocky and snowy bits, were shot in various spots across British Columbia.

The scenery really makes the show feel so immersive. I think it's cool how they manage to make those local Canadian forests and mountains look like an entirely different planet. Whenever I see those shots, it just makes me want to pack a bag and go hiking, even though I know it’s just clever production work. It's definitely one of those series where the setting feels like a character of its own.
