The NBA Slam Dunk Contest for the 2024 season has already taken place. It happened during NBA All-Star Weekend in February. While we can't predict who will be in next year's contest, the participants for 2024 were:
- Mac McClung (G League - Osceola Magic)
- Jaime Jaquez Jr. (Miami Heat)
- Jaylen Brown (Boston Celtics)
- Jacob Toppin (New York Knicks)

The lineup for this year's dunk contest is actually pretty solid. We've got a mix of the usual high-flyers and some of the young guys who have been making noise in the league lately. Honestly, it's been a while since I've been this hyped to watch the saturday night events, especially with the way these kids are jumping nowadays.
You'll be seeing some of the top rookies along with a couple of guys who are known for their highlight reels. It’s always a bit of a toss-up though, since you never know who's gonna pull off a clean 360 or a between-the-legs finish on the first try. I’m personally betting on one of the younger guards to take the trophy home this time around.
