what side of the grand canyon is the skywalk on

The Skywalk is located on the West Rim of the Grand Canyon, which is actually part of the Hualapai Tribal lands. A lot of people get confused because they think it's in the National Park itself, but it's managed by the tribe and not the park service. If you're driving out there, you have to head towards Peach Springs and then turn off toward the Grand Canyon West area.

I remember going out that way a few years back and the drive is pretty straightforward if you're coming from Vegas. It's definitely a different vibe compared to the South Rim, which is where most of the touristy hiking trails are. If you want that glass bridge experience, you definitely need to make sure you're heading to the West Rim, otherwise you're going to end up in the wrong spot after a long drive.
