where is the Sonoran Desert located

The Mojave Desert is basically spread across southeastern California, but it actually stretches into parts of Nevada, Arizona, and even a little bit of Utah. I've flown over that area plenty of times and it's pretty unmistakable from the air because of how vast and dry it looks compared to the surrounding mountains.

Most people usually think of it just being near Las Vegas or Death Valley, which is true, but it covers a huge chunk of land. It's honestly one of those places that looks totally different depending on whether you're down on the ground driving through it or looking at it from high up. If you ever get the chance to drive through it, just make sure you have plenty of water since the heat can be no joke out there.
