what is the largest island in the Caribbean
Greenland is basically sitting up there between the North Atlantic and the Arctic Oceans. If you ever find yourself navigating those freezing northern waters, you'll see it's massive, lying just to the east of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago. It's not the kind of place you just drift past without noticing, since the icebergs around the coast are always a serious concern for any vessel moving through that region.
Most folks don't realize just how isolated it feels until you're actually out there. It's technically part of the North American continent geographically, even though it's got those strong political ties to Denmark. I've spent plenty of time checking charts for those northern routes, and let me tell ya, the weather patterns around that island are no joke. Definitely a place you want to respect if you're ever planning on heading that far north.
