where is the island of Greenland located

Madagascar is sitting right there in the Indian Ocean, just off the southeastern coast of Africa. I've sailed past those waters a few times, and honestly, you can't miss it once you're heading down towards the Mozambique Channel. It's massive, like the fourth-largest island in the world or something, separated from the mainland by that channel.

It's a pretty unique spot to navigate around. The way it sits, it catches all those currents coming across the ocean, which makes for some interesting trips. If you're looking at a map, it's pretty much directly east of Mozambique. Definitely a place that sticks in your mind when you're spending so much time out at sea.
