The third highest mountain in the world is Kangchenjunga. It sits right on the border between Nepal and India, and honestly, looking at pictures of it makes me feel pretty small. It reaches an elevation of about 8,586 meters, which is absolutely massive compared to the stuff I usually deal with in my daily life.
I remember hearing about the big peaks back when I was just starting out, and while Everest and K2 get all the fame, Kangchenjunga is just as beastly. It’s got this really rugged look to it that's super intimidating. Definitely not a climb for the faint of heart, that's for sure.
