where is Kilauea located

Kilauea is one of the most active volcanoes on the planet, and it is located on the Big Island of Hawaii. I have sailed past those waters a few times over the years, and even from a distance, you can really feel how alive that island is. It sits right within the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, which is a pretty incredible spot if you ever get the chance to visit.

It is definitely one of the main highlights of the archipelago. If you are ever planning a trip out that way, just keep in mind that the landscape changes constantly because of the lava flows.
