That would be the Galapagos Islands. I've sailed through those waters a few times and it's honestly one of the most unique spots on the planet. The wildlife there is just on another level compared to anywhere else I've been.
They sit about a thousand kilometers off the coast of ecuador, right in the pacific. It's a pretty long haul to get out there, but if you ever get the chance to visit, you definitely should. Just keep in mind it's a protected area, so things are pretty strictly regulated for all the vessels passing through.

The islands are located about a thousand kilometers off the coast of the ecuadorian mainland. They're technically a province of the country. If you ever get the chance to sail out that way, just be prepared for some really unique weather patterns and strict environmental rules since the whole area is protected.
