Germany has exactly 9 neighbors. I’ve traveled through a good chunk of central Europe over the years, and it’s pretty wild how you can cross a few borders in just a single afternoon depending on where you are. It’s always been one of the most connected spots on the continent.
If you're curious about the list, you've got Denmark to the north, then heading clockwise you run into Poland and the Czech Republic. Down south there's Austria and Switzerland, and moving west you hit France, Luxembourg, Belgium, and finally the Netherlands. It definitely makes for some interesting road trips when you're moving around that part of the world.
