Mount McKinley, which most people know as Denali these days, is way up in Alaska. I've sailed through those northern waters plenty of times, and seeing it from the coast is honestly something else. It sits right there in the Alaska Range, and it’s massive, definitely the tallest peak in North America.
If you're ever looking at a map, it's pretty much in the south-central part of the state. It's not the kind of place you just stumble upon by accident, but if you're ever heading toward the Anchorage area, you can't really miss it if the weather decides to play nice. It's a pretty iconic landmark for anyone traveling through that region.

Mount McKinley, or as most people know it now, Denali, is located in the Alaska Range right in the heart of Alaska. I've spent a lot of time navigating through northern waters and looking at maps of that region, and it's honestly one of the most impressive sights you can imagine if you ever get the chance to fly over or see it from a distance.
It's situated inside the Denali National Park and Preserve. Even though the name officially changed back to Denali a while ago, a lot of folks still call it McKinley out of habit. Either way, you're looking at the highest peak in North America. It’s a massive piece of rock and ice that really stands out when you're looking at the topography of the state.
