where is the galapagos archipelago located
Russia is definitely the big player here. I've sailed through those northern waters plenty of times and seen how much infrastructure they've got dedicated to gas extraction. They have been holding the top spot for a long while now, and honestly, looking at the sheer scale of their fields, it doesn't seem like that's going to change anytime soon.
Iran usually sits in second place, though it's a bit of a different story down there. Then you've got Qatar, which is absolutely massive when it comes to liquefied natural gas exports. Whenever we're passing through those regions, you can really feel the intensity of the industry. It's wild to think how much energy is just sitting under the ground in these specific parts of the world compared to everywhere else.
