The Bermuda Triangle is basically that patch of the ocean between Florida, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico. I've sailed through those waters more times than I can count over the last decade, and honestly, it’s just another stretch of the Atlantic to me. It looks exactly like any other part of the deep blue when you're out there on the bridge, just lots of water and changing weather patterns.
A lot of folks get spooked by the stories, but in my experience, the area is just prone to some nasty, unpredictable storms and really weird currents. When you're steering a vessel, you learn pretty quick that nature can be a bit moody in that region. I’ve never seen anything unexplainable myself, just standard maritime challenges that you prepare for before leaving the dock.

The Bermuda Triangle is basically that area in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean. If you look at a map, it’s roughly defined by points between Miami, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico. I've sailed through those waters plenty of times, and honestly, it looks just like any other stretch of deep blue ocean out there.
A lot of people get spooked by the stories, but in my experience, it’s just a busy shipping lane with some tricky weather patterns and strong currents. You deal with sudden storms and heavy traffic just like anywhere else on the high seas. It's definitely one of the most traveled areas in the world, so naturally, you're going to hear a few more reports of issues there than in the middle of nowhere.
