That would definitely be the Missouri River. Whenever I'm out navigating, people always bring up those classic nicknames, and that one sticks because of how silt-heavy the water actually looks. It's got such a distinct, brownish hue that you can spot from a mile away once you're on the water.
I've run into plenty of folks who mistake it for the Mississippi, but the Big Muddy is specifically that long stretch of the Missouri.
