The new Amanda Knox documentary on Netflix has left me deeply conflicted, please, what do you think of the whole ordeal?

I watch every true crime show and documentary I can get my hands on and she stands out in my mind as most likely innocent. There were some questionable actions and she didn't seem to act in a way that was appropriate for the situation but it read much more naive and ignorant and confused than guilty. It's obvious the Italian prosecutor will go to any lengths to get the conviction he wants (taking a page from the American justice system I see) and his eagerness to assassinate her character is creepy af.

I feel like it's a modern day documentary on Albert Camus' The Stranger, set in Italy.

The doc was good in that it showed all of the different perspectives but bad in that it just furthers making it all about Amanda not Meredith. The daily fail journalist was absolutely horrendous and represents everything wrong with journalism and the case. People were quick to sexualize it based on very sparse evidence. Imo the local police fucked up. They did a shit job of investigating so really who knows what actually happened.
