You are physically incapable of ever lying again, but you get $10,000,000. Do you take it, and why or why not?
That is a massive pile of cash, and honestly, ten million bucks would change everything for me. I’ve been working hard my whole life, and having that kind of security would mean I could finally stop worrying about the next job or how to pay for house repairs. Who would turn that down? Sure, the no-lying thing sounds like a nightmare at first, but maybe it would actually simplify things in the long run.
I mean, think about it. Most of the lies we tell are just to spare someone’s feelings or to avoid a awkward conversation anyway. If I couldn't lie, I’d just have to be blunt. People might get annoyed at first, but they’d eventually learn to appreciate that I’m always straight with them. Being authentic isn't such a bad trade-off for financial freedom, right? I'd take the money and just learn to keep my mouth shut when I don't have something nice to say.
