How do you have friends of the opposite gender without them having feelings for you?

It's really not that difficult. I (f) have loads of guy friends, just because someone is the opposite gender doesn't mean they automatically fancy you. They probably just find it a good thing that you both enjoy movies so you can talk about them etc

Marriage is a big factor. Most of the women I know are married and several years older than me. Some even have kids. Chemistry is a big factor as well. Sometimes, being friend-zoned is enough for them.

It can be rather difficult if you're young and attractive!! You have to make it very clear from the outset that all you want is friendship and trust them to accept that and put themselves in that mindset.

To answer your question, making it very clear you're not interested in them. Telling them they are like a bro or sis and being very clear about my intentions with them. Communication is key! Be honest

Well, maybe it's just me, but treating them like normal human beings instead of targets for flirtation seems to work. Helps that I'm dog-ass ugly and obese too. Keeps women at a distance.

Idk, just like having friends of the same gender, it's really not that hard. Whether they get feelings for you is just dumb luck, can't really do much to stop or stimulate it. A little, but not much.
