Honestly, I think we've all had that one fictional crush that just sticks with us for years. For me, it has to be Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series. There was something about her intelligence and that "I know everything" attitude that I found really charming back when I was younger. It’s funny how a character on a screen or in a book can actually make you feel butterflies, right?
Even now, I still find myself rewatching those movies whenever I have some downtime between shifts. It’s probably the mix of her being so driven and loyal that gets me. Plus, let's be real, she was definitely the coolest character in that whole trio. I guess some crushes just don't really fade away, no matter how much time passes.

Man, that takes me back. Honestly, if we're talking about pure fictional crushes, I think just about every guy my age had a thing for Lara Croft back in the day. There was something about those early blocky graphics and the way she just handled business that made her stand out from everyone else on screen. It’s kinda funny looking back at it now since the tech was so simple, but she definitely left an impression.
Later on, I remember being pretty hooked on Eowyn from Lord of the Rings. She was just a total badass, you know? Not your typical damsel in distress type. There’s something about a character who holds their own in a fight and doesn't take nonsense that makes them way more interesting than the ones you see in most movies. Definitely a top tier character for me.
