It was the last day of first grade and it was a hot, California summer day. Our teacher gave us popsicles before recess, and I ate my popsicle and ran to the monkey bars. The monkey bars were at an angle so when going across, you're actually climb up. As I was climbing up, my left hand got stuck to the bar (see why popsicles were important?) and I hung there for awhile. As I reached for the next bar with my right arm, my left arm gave way and I fell on my right arm. Oh, and there was no padding under the monkey bars. Basically, I twisted my arm 3.5 times and broke both my ulna and my radius, slightly fractured the lower part of my humerus, and dislocated my shoulder. I was put in a full arm cast and was supposed to only have it for a month. A couple weeks later, they took x-rays again and realized that half of my ulna was fusing with the other half of my radius, so they re-broke my arm, untwisted it, and was in a cast for another month and a half. Never been on monkey bar

17 years old, playing running/back for the local (american) football team. Big linebacker with no skill tries to tackle me by jumping on my back. Having done my squats, i happily keep running with him hanging on me, until i miss a step and twist my ankle with the weight of 2 people on it - every tendon and bone snapped, leaving my foot dangling. Not alot of stitches, 10 I think, but alot of screws and bolts.

When I was in sixth grade, I fell off the school bus. (derp) I ended up cracking the growth plate on the inside of my ankle, and to this day my right leg is shorter than my left by about a 1/4 inch. I did get to wear a pretty sweet-ass looking boot for 2 months.

Decided it would be a good idea to take a running jump off a speed bump. With rollerskates. Broke my left wrist.

During a move when I was 5, my brother and I were playing tag or something along those lines. He ran through an open door and I chased after him. Neither of us knew that on the other side of the door, propped against the door frame, were two metal bed rails. He tripped over the bottom edge of the rail and was fine, but it caused the rail to fall and hit me in the head as I ran after him. Split my head WIDE open, lots of blood. I still have about a 4 inch scar across my scalp, luckily I have hair that covers it up.

When I was 11 we had a cat whom I loved, but was slowly going bonkers. One day we we're moving so my parents left us with a babysitter while they took a load over to the new house. Put the cat in the bathroom so he wouldn't claw the babysitter. Went to use the bathroom, walked in, the cat meowed a hateful sound, jumped at me and clawed the shit out of me. Parents came home, saw the blood bath and rushed me to the hospital. On the way there, the car broke down and we had to walk the rest of the way. Me bloody, holding a dish towel to my face. Anyone from Milwaukee will know how far it is to walk from 16th & National to 27th & Oklahoma. Anyway, 15 stitches in my forehead, 12 puncture wounds and 3 claw gouges. TL:DR, psycho cat. 15 stitches, 12 puncture wounds and 3 claw gouges. Edit: and I still love cats

"Well, my first "injury" I was about 1 and I decided it was awesome to put my bottle in a glass and carry it around. I think tripped and fell and a shard got stuck in my hand, requiring 4 stitches. I still have that scar. The second injury I was 7 years old. I was watching TMNT and I decided that I wanted to be a Ninja Turtle. I got ribbon from my mom's crafting drawr and found some scissors. Being stupid, I didn't cut the hole out, I tried to poke it out. Then, with lots of force, it sliced a big hole/gash in my left pointer finger. I didn't cry until I saw the blood and I remember my mom smacking me across the face to get me to calm down. "

When I was almost two, I was sitting on a wooden picnic table facing away from the table. I fell backwards and hit my head on the metal bars supporting the underside of the table. I wasn't even two yet, but today this day I still remember the horrible ride to the ER to get stitches.
