Side-rant: Does anyone else HATE that 1 second lapse between songs that iTunes interjects? I know you can get rid of it, but sometimes, it's just... there, in all it's obnoxious glory. For example: Listening to Black Sun Empire yesterday. One song starts to fade out, is interrupted by the 1 second lapse, and then the fade out continues as the next song starts. SO IRRITATING. I think you can probably tell that I like to listen to whole albums. (Albums covered on our roadtrip yesterday: Jeff Buckley - Grace, Black Sun Empire - Cruel and Unusual, DJ Shadow - Endtroducing, Passion Pit - Chunk of Change, Broken Bells - Broken Bells. We listened to half of a few albums, too.)

I've made it my goal for the summer to listen to an album each day.

I pretty much only listen to albums. You just have to find bands who make entire albums of good music, rather than just beefing up singles.

I still listen to whole albums. Always whole sountracks, but other than that, off the top of my head: any Anamanaguchi album Protomen Act1 and Act 2 Most older heavy metal, esp. Judas Priest The Streets ..

I do, all the time, none of them were released within the last 20 years though. Well, maybe a handful. Sometimes I like to make a playlist because I'm in the mood for a specific genre or just want to listen to stuff with Dio singing or only songs with awesome solos, etc.
