If you meant vessel as in vehicle, that's an easy one. Cruise ship. Sit back on the balcony with a mojito looking over a tropical paradise. The perfect vessel for consuming alcohol on board. If you meant vessel as in liquid holder, a leather boot after a long day of work. Pour your beverage of choice in, put it in the fridge, and after five hours you'll have a cold beverage with a delicious aftertaste of sweaty leather. A hard-earned thirst needs a big cold drink and the best liquid holder is a boot. A leather boot. The great Australian drinking vessel.

I go for a wine glass for chilled/room temperature drinks and tea cup for hot drinks. And I don't bother with glasses for single serving cans and glasses.

for me it was straight out of the bottle, for 12 years. 18 months sober.

Serious answer... For beer, one of my insulated mugs -- keeps it cold! For bourbon, a good rocks glass... For wine? Red or white goblet with NO STEM!!! (Too easy to knock over a stemmed glass.) Silly answer? I go with the Starship Enterprise. NCC 1701.
