Today marks the 10th birthday of Modern Warfare 2, for those of you who played it, what are your best memories of the game?

Man, has it really been that long? Hard to believe it's been a decade since I spent way too many late nights getting absolutely wrecked in Terminal. I still remember the first time I unlocked the Intervention and thought I was hot stuff just because I could land a quickscope, even though I missed about 90 percent of my shots. It was definitely the golden age of lobbies; the voice chat was pure chaos, but man, those were the days when you'd actually make friends just by screaming at each other over a match.

The campaign was honestly a masterpiece too. That airport mission definitely hits different now, but back then it was just pure, adrenaline-fueled cinema. I remember getting home from work and just wanting to jump straight into some ground war or search and destroy. You just don't get that same feeling with the newer stuff, everything feels so complicated now. Sometimes I really miss the simplicity of just logging on and having a blast without all the battle passes and crazy updates.
