Buy $100 worth of drugs. Divide it into 6-8 bags. Sell each bag for $20. Repeat. Horrible advice, but my old roommate apparently did this to pay for everything. I had no idea until I moved out. He didn't even smoke weed, just sold it apparently. Honestly, it all depends on your skills. If you're good at wood working, then you could easily buy $50 worth of lumber, make a few bar stools, and sell each of them for $30 unfinished (unstained or painted) or like $50 finished. If you could get fancy and make them look really awesome/sturdy/rustic/ect you could make WAY more than that. Off of barstools.

If you are still in highschool buy candy are the dollar store and sell it in school for cheaper than the schools price (if they even sell them at all) but still make a profit. Repeat.

The newspaper anecdote isn't very applicable in modern day situations where the resale of most products is illegal. Just start throwing your money in a savings account with a decent interest rate like everyone else.

Buy and sell. Seriously. Buy old bicycle. Repair and make bicycle as mint as possible. Sell on kijiji / local classified. Repeat. Same could be said with a iPhone. Buy broken iPhone Repair iPhone Sell fixed iPhone. This formula works I tells ya!

I'd say a savings account, but with 200 dollars you be making about a dollar a year in interest. I assume you're fairly young so the best way to really make money is to mow lawns or chores for other people. Making your money grow usually takes more set up.
