"I remember being 4 years old and thinking it was SO COOL how it looked when people moved their eyeballs. I thought it was some talent you had to learn and deliberately try to do. I only realized a while later that that was how it looked to others when I shifted my view to the sides... I had this revelation in the middle of a movie, and I interrupted my mom's theater experience to ask her "Hey, are my eyes moving right now?!" She was probably a bit confused, but I think that must have been par for the course, raising child-me... "

I had no idea that men made more money than women until I was in high school. I grew up in a family where my mom, an anesthesiologist, makes more money than my dad, a cardiologist. I feel like I have a pretty unique perspective on gender.
