I have more than 1 thing. If I known my dad would go back on his promise to pay off my student loans, I would have gone to my 1st choice school instead of the one he claimed he was willing to pay for. Don't assume you know everything about your high school friends when college is an entirely different atmosphere than your hometown/high school (also, you're not obliged to continue being their friend either!) Lastly, you do you and don't bow to pressure from others to do something you don't want to and don't care about anyone else's opinion of what your major should/shouldn't be.

It's real easy to screw up your first semester no matter how smart you are, which can put your GPA into a hole that's hard to recover from.
I wish I would have known specifically what I wanted to do for a career. (Not that I know that now). I always thought it would click in college what I wanted to do, but it never did. Currently still hoping to figure it out sooner than later.
Spend money wisely, don't mix with retards, organise reliable transport and also DON'T DROP OUT!
I graduated with an engineering degree from a very STEM-focused school. Technical abilities and knowledge are important, but nothing will help your career as much as your ability to interact and communicate with other people, especially people from a non-technical background (lawyers, corporate, customers, etc.). I feel like a lot of people graduate without understanding this key concept and then wonder why they never get promoted or really advance in their field.
90% of success is just showing up every day.
Socializing is so important. Outside of future jobs, this might be the last big opportunity you have to meet a lot of new people.
Sleep more than you study. Study more than you party. Party as much as you can. Also, don't be too cool to get involved in something! College is the time to learn and be curious- build good habits and develop your understanding of the world, but understand that you're also developing the foundation of your professional network.
No one will remind you to complete your projects and papers and no one will remind you about tests that are coming up. It's all on you.
Don't go into debt to go, have good study habits and if you see a redheaded girl who is extremely attractive, run.
