I was about 5 years old and had two sisters. I remember watching all the TV shows about kids having that awesome brothers and always wondered why I didn't have one. So a few days before Christmas, I told my parents that I finally decided what I wanted them to get me, a baby brother. So my dad smiled and said he would see what he could do. 9 months later my mom is in labor and I am with one of my Auntie's waiting while my dad is with my mom. When we get home I finally get a chance to see what's wrapped in that lovely blanket... a girl. I was dissapoint. I looked at my dad and he said, be happy you have another sister you can watch over and protect, you can be the big brother you always wanted to be. Eventually I get over myself and get excited and then 20 years later my dad tells me he found out I have an older brother, 7 years older than me. Tl dr I got a 30 year old brother as a 20 year late Christmas gift

My family does this name-drawing thing at Christmas, so everyone basically gets one, really well-thought-out, awesome gift. My cousin, male, age 19, drew my name. I flew back to California from Hawaii, where I was living at the time, to spend Christmas with my family. On Christmas morning, my one awesome gift was... a scarf and mittens. But bless his little heart for trying?

I was with my mom this Christmas and the last one. We don't really do Christmas at that house, which is fine, especially given we were ridiculously short on cash the second year. Theeeen we got into a massive fight on Christmas eve. I just stayed in my room for two days and tripped.
