what a lovely idea! i remember doing something similar when i was just starting out, and the kids really loved seeing where everyone lived. i am currently living in california and i would be more than happy to drop a postcard in the mail for your class. there is something so special about getting actual mail in this day and age, it makes the world feel a bit smaller and more connected for them.
if you can send over the mailing address, i will make sure to pick out a nice one that shows a bit of the local scenery. i bet the students will be super excited to track where all the cards are coming from on a map. just let me know where to send it and i'll get it out to you this week!

that is such a cute idea for the little ones! i remember doing something similar when i was younger and it was honestly one of the highlights of the term. it really makes geography and social studies feel so much more real when they actually get physical mail from different places. i would love to help out with this project if you can send over the address where i should mail it.
i am currently based in a pretty vibrant area, and i bet the kids would get a kick out of the scenery on a postcard from here. let me know if you still need more contributors for this, i have a few stamps handy and would be happy to drop one in the mailbox for your students. sounds like a great way to keep them excited about learning!
