I have a full-time job working 40-55 hours a week how can I go back to college and get a degree without quitting my job?

"Some people would ask "what do you want to do with your life" and then try to suggest a major. When I was getting bachelors #2 in the 90s, the average college graduate would change their careers about 5 times before they retire. Probably the most important thing to learn in college is "how to learn." Many colleges (both 2 and 4 year) will offer classes online. Those take a different type of discipline than going to class. Check your local community colleges to see what is offered in the evenings. Most majors require some of the same classes - composition, algebra, maybe econ. See what is common to a lot of majors and try to knock those out. Take no more than 3 classes per semester. For your first semester, I'd recommend taking 1 class so you can get an easy win under your belt. I personally think that a lot of majors are "worthless" from the viewpoint of "can you get a job doing this?" "

If you want... you can get a CS degree online from a few different places. The one that comes to mind for me is Park University. They give a bunch of credits for prior schooling. I was in the same boat and this got me moving in the right direction.
Figure it out and just do it. I went back to college when I was 30. Worked full time, had a toddler and an infant at home and still managed to take a full credit load and graduated with honors. If you really want it, you will figure it out.
Your first step should be to find something you're truly passionate about to study. School is hard enough it helps to have motivation.
Evening classes.
You are right -- the longer you wait the worse it is... at any point you start (if you follow through this time) the sooner you will finish. I work the same amount as you and am doing my Master's part time after work. I can't really afford to take more than 3 classes at a time (that's a somewhat stressful load) and that's about 12 hours a semester. Try and find a school you can go to part-time but realize this will take you at least 4 years or so if you do 2-3 classes Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. It's possible but requires a lot of work.. otherwise extend the time quite a bit.
That's a lot of weekly hours. Can you stealthily increase your knowledge of the IT stuff and automate it, without anyone else knowing? So your 40 hours a week is really only 20 hours, etc. That's what my brother is doing right now, and so far it's given him 2-3 hours per day of time to do certification programs, etc. I think he's planning on getting a degree of some kind through an online/correspondence program eventually... all under the radar. You may as well parlay your knowledge of computers into a CS degree? You can tech yourself music theory in as a hobby when you're working as a python programmer for $75K/year ...
1- Ask parents for help (moneywise), switch to part time job or 2- Get student loan from government, switch to part time job or 3- Take college classes online, as long as it's from an accredited school there is no distinction between online and seated classes. Edit: btw, I've done both seated and online classes before. Online classes seem to be more difficult in general. But you gotta do what you gotta do. Also.. you don't need to decide on what program/degree you want right now. Just take a few of the basic classes like english, math, history (which generally are required with whatever program you do).. also, everytime you change schools your gpa starts over.
quit job, stunt loan, part time job
Employers usually pay for college tuition. Look into seeing if your employer will help pay for college. If so, look into schools that offer degrees online. They are very common these days.
