Off the top of my head, these are all cover versions I really enjoy: Take Me Home Country Roads - Toots and the Maytals Original artist John Denver Changes - Charles Bradley Original artist Black Sabbath War Pigs - Cake Original artist Black Sabbath Marie Douceur, Marie Colere/Paint It Black - Marie Laforet Original artist Rolling Stones (not a direct cover) Jolene - Miley Cyrus Original artist Dolly Parton (the 33rpm slowed version of the original is my favorite version of the song however) Steppin' Stone - Minor Threat Original artist The Monkees (arguably more a cover of the Sex Pistols' cover then of the original song)
