Is 3D animation and visual effects at Vancouver Film School worth it?

Hello everyone, I have recently applied to VFS for the 3D animation and visual effects program. and I have been offered a scholarship as well. I am from an engineering bg, and have no expertise on animation, but my interest in fine arts has led me here. I just had a few queries about the same. 1) Is this course worth it? how well do the faculty teach? 2) I am coming from a middle class family, just wanted to know if the diploma program will help secure a good job and a salary immediately after the course? 3)around how much can I expect to earn after the 1year diploma program completion? Hoping for some advice at the earliest Thank you
