"A politician. I think that everyone promises great things, then they get briefed in the oval office and go "shiiit". There is alot going on behind the scenes and I think a politician is best suited to handle that. "

I don't really agree with the idea of career politicians. If you are to represent your general constituency, I feel like you need to have a career and see being a politician as a civic duty. As for the other options, it depends on their views on policies.

For the life of me, I will never understand why people are somehow convinced that businessmen/women would be better suited to a political job than a seasoned government worker. It feels like we've become jaded about politicians these days (which, trust me, I get), but in what other profession would that mean that we start turning to people without directly correlating degrees and skills? We wouldn't trust anyone but a surgeon to operate on us, we wouldn't trust anyone but a licensed psychologist to give us therapy, so where does this idea come from that, rather than politicians, we should elect people with no business working with complicated government channels and expect good results?
