There are loads of honeybees outside my window flying around a bush... how can I encourage them to stay, as CCD is threatening the British honeybee?

From my understanding, CCD is only a major problem with commercial beekeepers, which I presume, you are not. There are some reports, at least, that organic beekeepers are not experiencing CCD. Those bees outside your house should be fine going wherever they please.

Start swatting at them and they should swarm your window in no time.

They are only going to stay while that bush is producing something they want. It is probably in flower right now. You could research which plants will attract them for the future, if you want bees to stick around long term.

Get a hive from a local beekeepers association or supply place. Use lemongrass oil as bait. Place where the swarm is and shake the bees into the hive.
