In Vietnam, men can strip down to their boxers if they are hot. However when a woman wears a bikini and shorts in America, they look down on her. What is a similar double standard in another culture?

I just want to say that I disagree with that comparison. I live in a very small, conservative town in America and many women here basically wear thongs as their bikinis without any judgment. I know that's beside the point, but I wanted to address it

In America, women are generally seen as more parental, such that in custody disputes many judges will automatically award primary custody to the mother unless there are serious issues there.
