If you were on Jeopardy, what would be your ""interesting story"" you told Alex after the first commercial break?

Back when I was in my mid-twenties, I decided to drive solo across the country in a beat-up truck that barely made it up the hills. Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, my alternator gave out right at sunset. I ended up stuck in this tiny town where the only mechanic was a guy who spent the whole time complaining about how he missed his pet goat. I actually spent the night helping him fix the truck while we drank lukewarm coffee and listened to old records, and by morning, the thing was running better than it ever had before.

It’s honestly one of those things you don't really plan for, but it became my go-to story for every campfire or bar night since. People usually expect something grand or life-changing, but there’s just something about being stranded in a place that’s not on any map that really sticks with you. It reminds me that sometimes the best detours are the ones that actually involve a bit of grease and a total stranger’s weird hobby.
