Honestly, with 50 bucks, you aren't really winning a fight against a tiger, but if I had to improvise, I’d head straight for the garden section. A high-powered LED floodlight and a can of industrial-strength pepper spray or wasp killer would be my go-to. The idea is to blind the thing and create enough chemical irritation to maybe make it reconsider its life choices while I look for an exit. It’s a slim chance, but standing there with a hammer or a wrench isn't going to do much against 500 pounds of muscle.
I’d also grab a long-handled rake or a shovel just to keep some distance. Keeping that barrier between you and the predator is the only way to survive more than a few seconds. If you can create a loud noise or some bright flashes, you might just scare it off, since most predators don't want to get injured over a meal. Whatever you do, don't try to go toe-to-toe with it; you'll lose every single time regardless of what's in your shopping cart.
