What items you wilfully did not buy before that made you regret today?

Man, that's a tough one. If I look back, the biggest thing I regret not grabbing when I had the chance was a solid, vintage tool chest I saw at an estate sale about five years ago. It was in mint condition, practically indestructible, and the price was a total steal. I talked myself out of it thinking I didn't have enough space in the workshop at the time, but honestly, I just didn't want to shell out the cash then. Now, every time I'm digging through these flimsy, modern plastic organizers that crack if you look at them wrong, I kick myself for being so stingy back then.

Another thing is a piece of land in a quiet area outside the city I was looking at back in my early twenties. I had the savings to put a down payment on it, but I got cold feet because I wanted to spend that money on a newer car instead. Looking at the property values now, that land would have been the best investment I ever made. It’s funny how we prioritize the stuff that loses value immediately, like a shiny vehicle, over something that actually grows with you over the years.
