What is one man-made thing that blows your mind?

honestly, for me it has to be the international space station. whenever i think about the fact that we have this massive, complex structure floating up there in zero gravity, constantly being maintained by humans from different countries, it just totally blows my mind. it’s pretty crazy that we’ve managed to pull off something like that while we’re all down here just going about our daily routines.

i remember seeing it pass over my house one evening last summer, just a tiny bright dot moving across the sky, and it really put things into perspective. thinking about the sheer engineering and the logistics involved in keeping that thing operational for this long is just wild. it’s definitely the most impressive man-made achievement in my book, even more so than the big skyscrapers or tech gadgets we use every day.
